Please God, let this be the last article we ever read about Ray Emery. He's gone to Russia to play for Atlant Mytishchi of the Continental Hockey League. I guess that North America just isn't cool enough for Ray. It's our loss. Damn that guy was effin' cool... I miss him.
Anyone else annoyed that any Russia-related NHL article plays on some kind of "To Russia with Love" pun? That seems like something that sports writers like...

Dang! I was just about to blog this! I was a little surprised that he only got three calls from NHL GMs, I was sure he'd be back. Maybe he wasn't interested in two-way deals for less than a million. Oh well.
Other possible Sun headlines:
-Emery seeing Red (Square) (with a sub-headline like, "Disappointed in offer from NHL clubs, former Senator heads to Moscow")
-Ray-Ray-Raysputin, lover of a Russian queen
-Union of Soviet Socialist Ray-publics
I think we should have a new policy and henceforth refer to Emery as "he who shall not be named" or HWSNBN for short. Then we can all get on with our lives.
Emery = Voldemort?
Something like that, but much less nerdy :P
Pssh! Harry Potter is not nerdy. Everyone reads Harry Potter, even Kobe Bryant, and Kobe is no nerd.
Uhhh...I have never read a single Harry Potter book in my life or seen any of the movies.
...but I'm still a nerd. I fully admit it.
I still can't believe Ottawa's starting goaltender is Martin Gerber.
Oh. I doubt Kobe Bryant reads Harry Potter.
I still can't believe the Habs traded Patrick Roy.
That still haunts me.
Kobe turns to Harry Potter to break Celtics' magic spell
Sherry, get on that reading. Don't you want to be like Kobe?
I'd bet my first-born child that Gerber has a stellar season this year. Good riddance to Ray - I hope the door doesn't hit him in his lazy arse on the way out.
Don't you want to be like Kobe?
Meaghan, how did you know that has been my dream ever since I was a little girl? Have you been reading my diary?
Gerber's a top goaltender on the first shot but not quite as good with the rebound control, but that's not going to be a problem with our shot-blocking D taking every second shot on their pads.
