Turns out Daniel Alfredsson's status for tonight's game against the Montreal Canadiens has been upgraded from 'unlikely' to 'a game-time decision', and according to Chris Stevenson, who spoke on the Team 1200's pre-game show, it seems downright likely that the captain will return.
Stevenson said Alfredsson was working diligently on his sticks, and was being put through the wash along with Brian McGrattan and Nick Foligno--the likely scratches if Alfie returns--by assistant coach Greg Carvel before the game.
