No Fisher for season opener

Well, it's finally here: Just a couple hours until the Sens begin the season. Unfortunately Mike Fisher's groin injury hasn't heal well enough, so he's decided to take it easy and sit this one out. So that means that it's not serious, just precautionary, or that it's very serious, and the team is downplaying it. Who knows.

This likely means that the second line will be three (natural) centremen: Nick Foligno, Antoine Vermette, and Jesse Winchester. Chris Kelly may jump up, but he might play third line once again instead. Maybe we'll see the Cockroach Line (get it? Pests?) of Jarkko Ruutu, Chris Neil, and Cody Bass. One of Shean Donovan or Dean McAmmond will be suiting up with Fisher out.

For the record, neither Andrej Meszaros nor Wade Redden have stood out too much in the Rangers/Lightning game. So far, at any rate.
