Ottawa Citizen reports that Bryan Murray is sticking with Martin Gerber for Thursday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. It will be Gerb's 16th consecutive start.
Even the newspaper media, who used to lavish praise on Gerber and his blue-collar attitude, are switching over to the Ray Emery bandwagon.
A thought: Maybe this crazy streak by Gerber is in fact Murray just resting up his playoff starter? That's just a conspiracy theory, but one which could turn out to be genius if Emery (if/when he is chosen to start) is successful for Ottawa in the playoffs.
